Head of Finance

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Take full ownership of the finance function, from day-to-day operations through to strategic planning.
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and insight.
- Own and execute month-end and year-end close processes.
- Partner with the MD and leadership team to shape business strategy and drive growth.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Actively manage cash flow, working capital, and runway.
- Establish and maintain robust financial controls and processes.
- Build scalable financial infrastructure to support growth.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in a senior finance role (Head of Finance, Finance Director, or similar)
- Strong track record of being hands-on and owning the numbers end-to-end.
- Experience in an SME, agency, or growth-stage business.
- Comfortable operating as the most senior finance person in the business.
- Track record of partnering with leadership teams on strategic decisions.
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent)
