About the role

  • Work on an SAP S/4HANA implementation project for a company in the oil industry.
  • The consultant will be responsible for the functional leadership of the SAP PP module, focusing on Process Manufacturing (PP-PI).
  • Ensure adherence to S/4HANA best practices, integration with other SAP modules, and optimization of the oil industry's production processes.
  • Strategic, hands-on role in configuration, testing, shop-floor integrations and go-live support.
  • Configure the SAP PP module to meet the client's specific production requirements.
  • Ensure PP integration with other SAP modules.
  • Prepare functional specifications for developments, always prioritizing standard (out-of-the-box) solutions.
  • Challenge non-standard developments based on market best practices.
  • Provide support during go-live and for the 3 months post go-live.

Requirements

  • Solid experience as an SAP PP Consultant Specialist, with a focus on the oil industry.
  • Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation projects (PP).
  • Experience with Process Manufacturing (PP-PI).
  • Experience with: Bill of Materials (BOM), Master Recipe, Production Version, Process Orders and Rework, Confirmations and operation postings.
  • Experience in integrations with legacy systems (shop floor).
  • Experience preparing functional specifications (API, BAPI, CDS View).
  • Hands-on experience in the Realize/Build phase.
  • Experience with unit, integration and UAT testing.
  • Deep knowledge of production execution processes.
  • Experience delivering training and supporting end users.
  • Prior experience in the oil sector (lubricants, fuels or derivatives).
  • Experience in projects with a high degree of integration between modules.
  • SAP PP or S/4HANA certification.
  • Experience working in hybrid environments and large-scale projects.
  • Knowledge of integration with MM and QM.
