About the role

Develop and evolve modern backend services with a focus on: Performance; Scalability; Resilience;
Build and maintain microservices decoupled from the existing monolith;
Implement event-driven solutions, queues, and messaging;
Create complex integrations with multiple providers, ensuring: fallback; retry; idempotency;
Operate in extremely high transactional-volume environments;
Ensure code quality, automated testing, and technical governance;
Work alongside Tech Leads/Architects to define technical standards;
Support technical documentation and knowledge transfer.

Important: Java is already the dominant internal stack — we are seeking technological complementarity.
Strong experience in Backend Development.
Strong experience with at least one of the following stacks: Kotlin; Node.js; Go (Golang) — highly desirable for high-performance services;
Proven experience with microservices architecture;
Knowledge of event-driven architecture;
Experience with messaging and queues (FIFO, asynchronous processing);
Experience with AWS (cloud-native);
Proficiency with relational and non-relational databases;
Consistent practice with automated testing;
Use of SonarQube or equivalent, with requirement for: minimum test coverage between 70% and 80%
Ability to operate in critical and regulated environments.
Experience with Kubernetes (or migration to K8s);
Knowledge of Cloudflare / WAF / security;
Experience in financial platforms, gaming, payments, or anti-fraud;
Experience with large-scale distributed systems;
Experience working in 24x7 environments with no maintenance windows.
