About the role

  • Act as the functional authority for the SAP SD module in a Greenfield S/4HANA project.
  • Lead end-to-end functional design of OTC processes, ensuring alignment with SAP best practices and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops, requirements gathering, detailed blueprinting, and definition of complex sales, billing, shipping, and pricing scenarios.
  • Perform advanced SD configurations, including: complex pricing and condition techniques; delivery strategies; billing and tax invoice handling; ATP and availability rules; returns and credit handling.
  • Prepare and validate high-level functional specifications (FS) for integrations, interfaces, and custom developments.
  • Lead and support functional, integrated, and UAT testing.
  • Ensure correct integration of SD with modules: MM, PP, FI, EWM, and TM.
  • Support project governance, maintaining technical and functional consistency across all implemented solutions.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level consultants to ensure quality of deliverables.
  • Conduct impact analyses, risk assessments, estimations, and define cutover strategy.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience with SAP SD, including roles as a specialist or functional lead.
  • Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA projects, preferably Greenfield implementations.
  • Deep mastery of OTC processes and complex configurations.
  • Experience producing detailed functional specifications.
  • Strong track record in SD integrations with MM, PP, FI, EWM, and TM.
  • Knowledge of legal and tax requirements applicable to the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience in integrated testing and functional leadership during the Realize/Build phase.
  • Prior experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other regulated industries (preferred).
  • Basic ABAP knowledge for technical validation and support to the development team (preferred).
  • Experience with SAP GTS, BRIM, or integrated tax solutions (preferred).
  • Experience with highly complex logistics processes (preferred).
