About the role

  • Provide ongoing support and enhancements for SAP FI (Financial) and CO (Controlling) modules.
  • Gather requirements, analyze processes, and design solutions in collaboration with business stakeholders.
  • Configure and customize FI/CO modules to meet business needs.
  • Participate in implementation projects, rollouts, continuous improvement initiatives, and support activities.
  • Execute integration and unit tests and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Support accounting and financial period closings, ensuring compliance and deadlines.
  • Work collaboratively with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PS, etc.).
  • Prepare functional and technical documentation.
  • Conduct meetings and interactions with global teams in English.
  • Support key users and lower-level support teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as an SAP FI/CO Consultant.
  • Solid experience in SAP FI modules: GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, and Closing.
  • SAP CO: Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and COPA.
  • Experience in support/maintenance and SAP implementation projects.
  • Knowledge of integrations between FI/CO and other SAP modules.
  • Experience in requirements gathering and liaising with business areas.
  • Good English for meetings, emails, documentation, and interaction with international teams.
  • Availability for occasional travel approximately every two months to Joinville, SC (Brazil).
  • Experience with S/4HANA.
  • Experience in global rollouts or international projects.
  • Knowledge of Brazil localization (TAXBRA, SPED, Brazilian tax and accounting legislation).
  • Experience with Agile methodologies or SAP Activate.
  • SAP FI and/or SAP CO certification.
