About the role
- Responsible for leading the planning, execution and monitoring of functional and integrated testing activities in SAP environments and related corporate systems.
- Act strategically to ensure delivery quality, adherence to testing methodologies and compliance with project deadlines.
- Manage multidisciplinary teams, report executive status and ensure alignment between business areas, IT and vendors.
- Plan and coordinate all phases of the testing cycle (unit, integration, regression, user acceptance).
- Develop and review test strategies, plans and schedules.
- Monitor test progress and script execution, ensuring adequate requirements coverage.
- Manage the testing team (internal and third-party), assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
- Use and administer ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) tools for control of test cases, defects and quality metrics.
- Generate progress reports and quality metrics for stakeholders and executive management.
- Coordinate testing activities in SAP environments, ensuring integration between modules and legacy systems.
- Ensure that all deliverables comply with the quality and governance standards defined by the project.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in testing, with at least 2 years in test management or technical leadership.
- Solid knowledge of test planning, execution and monitoring.
- Proficiency with ALM tools (e.g., HP ALM / Micro Focus ALM, Jira + Xray, Azure DevOps).
- Proven experience in SAP environments (ECC or S/4HANA).
- Advanced English (able to lead meetings and write technical reports).
- Availability for occasional travel is required.
- Preferred: experience in SAP implementation, rollout or upgrade projects.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe).
- Certifications such as ISTQB, PMP or similar.
- Experience in multinational environments.
