About the role
- Provide techno-functional support for PeopleSoft Payroll modules, including configuration, testing, and enhancements
- Analyze payroll-related issues, perform incident resolution, and support system upgrades and enhancements
- Execute and support unit testing, system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) in Agile environments
- Develop and execute test plans, test scripts, and defect documentation
- Perform integration testing and data validation across interfacing systems
- Analyze payroll data and reports to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions
- Produce and maintain documentation including functional requirements, process flows, system diagrams, defect logs, and status reports
- Collaborate with functional users, developers, and project leadership to deliver high-quality payroll system solutions
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders to ensure system changes meet business and compliance requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting PeopleSoft applications
- Strong hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Payroll modules
- Demonstrated experience in testing methodologies, including functional, integration, and UAT
- Experience supporting incident resolution, enhancements, and upgrades
- Strong SQL and PeopleSoft Query skills
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Prior experience supporting PeopleSoft Payroll within the public sector
- Experience with ERP implementation or modernization initiatives
