About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor and analyse the Indian renewable energy market: -Solar PV (utility-scale, C&I), BESS -tariffs, tenders, regulatory developments, -competitors, IPPs, EPCs and investors.
  • Prepare market intelligence notes and synthesis for the India management team and HQ.
  • Support business development activities: -opportunity screening (greenfield, tenders, partnerships), -preparation of internal notes and decision materials.
  • Support the finance & accounting structuring of the Indian subsidiary in coordination with HQ.
  • Help design, improve and document: -financial reporting tools (monthly reporting, dashboards), -budget tracking and cost monitoring, -project‑level financial follow‑up (basic level).
  • Act as a relay between the India team and HQ finance: -ensure consistency of formats, data and assumptions, -improve clarity, reliability and timeliness of reporting.
  • Contribute to the definition and implementation of right processes: -workflows, -reporting calendars, -responsibilities and interfaces between India and HQ.
  • Coordinate inputs between: -local India teams (development, operations), -Group HQ teams (finance, strategy, international).

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Energy or equivalent.
  • Strong interest in renewable energy, infrastructure or emerging markets.
  • First experience (internship/graduate level) in business analysis, consulting, finance, audit, project finance or strategy is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and structured thinking.
  • Very good command of Excel (reporting, analysis); PowerPoint required.
  • Interest in process design, tools and interface roles between teams.
  • Fluent English (working language).
  • Fluent French.
  • Knowledge of Hindi or other Indian languages is an advantage, not mandatory.
