About the role
- Build next-generation digital twins and simulation frameworks for U.S. Space Force operational use cases
- Develop and integrate digital twin models of space platforms, ground systems, and mission workflows
- Run simulations and deliver insights for mission planning and decision-making
- Apply software engineering best practices (Python, C++, MATLAB, DevSecOps)
- Collaborate with engineers, operators, and DoD/Space Force partners
- Analyze system performance, run scenario-based simulations, and provide insights for mission planning
- Document model architectures, assumptions, and results for technical and non-technical audiences
- Approximately 10% travel to company headquarters in Utica, NY and client sites across the country
Requirements
- Two to Five years of professional experience in modeling, simulation, or digital twin development
- Experience with frameworks like Simulink, STK, or AnyLogic
- Experience with Python, C++, MATLAB, DevSecOps
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, aerospace engineering or systems engineering, or a closely related technical field
- Applicants must be U.S. citizens (clearance required)
- Must meet eligibility requirements for at minimum Secret clearance
