About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify-based e-commerce storefronts
- Build self-service tools that allow business users to update hundreds or thousands of stores simultaneously
- Implement new features, integrations, and improvements for the Shopify platform
- Work with Shopify APIs and integrations with internal systems and third-party services
- Integrate inventory management systems, payment services, logistics solutions, and other e-commerce services
- Customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Ensure platform stability and compatibility with new Shopify updates and changes
- Implement fan insights systems to analyze user behavior, purchases, and product preferences
- Work with data integrations, including Neo4j and Snowflake, to expand the platform’s analytical capabilities
- Consolidate storefronts from multiple acquired companies into a single scalable Shopify platform
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the Shopify platform
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience working with Shopify and e-commerce platforms
- Experience with React and GraphQL development
- Experience working with databases
- Understanding of data modeling principles and best practices for database schema design
- Experience working with Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience with Shopify CLI and Shopify Partner Dashboard
- Experience integrating Shopify Payments
- Experience developing and customizing Shopify themes
- Experience working with Shopify APIs and third-party service integrations
- Experience using Git and modern development workflows
- English level: B2+
