Enterprise Systems Administrator

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The day-to-day tasks of the Enterprise Systems Administrator may vary depending on the needs of the users or systems on a given day. The Enterprise Systems Administrator can plan for upgrades, updates, and maintenance tasks, but there will always be unexpected issues that arise on any given day. Enterprise Systems Administrators will find themselves acting as an escalation point of contact when a user is facing software or system issues. The IT Team works within a ticketing system, so that each member of the IT team will have a variety of tickets to address and close out each day in addition to their maintenance tasks. While the nature of this role is more technically based, it is important for the Enterprise Systems Administrator to have a tolerant and patient disposition, with strong communication skills to put frustrated users at ease. With many tasks to oversee, in general the Enterprise Systems Administrator will be responsible to:
- NetSuite Administration
- - Configure, customize, and maintain NetSuite OneWorld, including multi-subsidiary, multi-currency, and intercompany functionality.
- - Manage user roles, permissions, saved searches, workflows, custom records, forms, and fields.
- - Support existing integrations and automations between NetSuite and third-party applications, troubleshooting issues and coordinating with the internal development team as needed.
- - Ensure NetSuite continues to align with business needs across financial reporting, supply chain management, and CRM.
- - Develop and enforce best practices for system usage, data governance, and security.
- Strategic Planning & Support
- - Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify system requirements, recommend process improvements, and prioritize the NetSuite roadmap.
- - Maintain system documentation, user guides, and training materials.
- - Oversee role-based access controls to protect sensitive business data.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum Qualifications
- - 3+ years of hands-on NetSuite administration experience, or a bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field combined with relevant NetSuite experience.
- - Strong understanding of order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and CRM processes within NetSuite.
- - Working knowledge of JavaScript, SuiteScript 1.0 and 2.0, SuiteFlow, and SuiteTalk.
- - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Preferred Skills
- - NetSuite SuiteFoundations, Administrator, and/or Developer certifications.
- - Background in change management and process optimization.
