About the role
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in alignment with company growth objectives
- Work with leadership team to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and government agencies
- Lead and manage the full lifecycle of proposal development, including writing, reviewing, and ensuring compliance with solicitation requirements
- Lead proposal teams and coordinate resources to deliver high-quality, timely submissions
- Monitor industry trends and provide strategic insights to enhance competitive positioning
Requirements
- 10–15 years of experience in business development within federal contracting
- Demonstrated experience with Navy SeaPort and GSA OASIS contract vehicles
- Strong background in writing and managing federal contracting proposals
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience in capture management, proposal management, and strategic planning
