About the role
- Ensure and optimize network operations
- Configure and manage security components and network switching elements
- Create and maintain technical plans for IT security and networks
- Identify and implement standardizations
- Automate and program to optimize workflows
- Design and monitor interfaces
- Participate in challenging projects and develop new network solutions
Requirements
- Solid experience administering firewalls, preferably Fortinet and Check Point components
- Good knowledge of IP network management, preferably with Cisco components
- Experience in scripting and programming (e.g., Python, Java, PowerShell)
- Knowledge of security components in IP networks (firewalls, routers, switches)
- Strong communication and coordination skills in German and English
- Customer-focused, self-reliant, and structured working style
- Ability to work in a team and good interpersonal skills when engaging with various stakeholders
- Willingness to participate in regular on-call duties
