About the role
- Collaborate with export and customs stakeholders to understand their requirements and discuss solution options.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in HANA and S/4HANA.
- Gather requirements, create functional specifications, configure systems, perform testing, deliver training, etc.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure seamless integration of export and customs processes with other business areas.
- Understand and advise on functional and technical dependencies with other areas such as Sales, Logistics, Finance, or Intercompany.
Requirements
- More than 5 years of relevant professional experience with SAP GTS
- Hands-on experience implementing SAP GTS in end-to-end implementation projects
- Strong knowledge of SAP GTS functionalities, particularly the Export module, preference determination, and export control compliance
- Good knowledge of traditional SPL screenings, HANA-SPL screenings, and product classification based on numbers/sets, export control, import customs clearance, and processing in free trade zones
- Project management skills – ability to deliver high-quality results within set timelines in international teams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
