About the role
- Implementation and configuration of ServiceNow ITOM modules, in particular:
- Discovery: design and configuration of network scans and data sources for automated IT asset discovery
- Service Mapping: creation of detailed service maps to visualize IT infrastructures and dependencies
- Event Management: integration of monitoring tools for proactive monitoring and event handling
- Operational Intelligence and Cloud Management: implementations to optimize IT operations and cloud usage
- Conducting workshops to analyze requirements and identify customers' IT operations needs
- Technical consulting and best practices: supporting customers in optimizing their IT operations processes using the ITOM modules
- Data integration and API connections: integrating third-party tools (e.g., Splunk, Nagios, SolarWinds) using REST/SOAP APIs
- Testing and quality assurance: performing tests and troubleshooting to ensure a smooth implementation
- Customer training: organizing and delivering training for effective use of the implemented ITOM modules
- Project management: supporting the planning, execution, and documentation of implementation projects
Requirements
- Experience implementing ServiceNow, particularly the ITOM (IT Operations Management) modules
- Deep understanding of IT operations processes and experience in IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT infrastructure
- Technical knowledge of ServiceNow configurations (JavaScript, Flow Designer, scripting) and API integrations
- Certifications such as ServiceNow System Administrator, ServiceNow ITOM Implementation Specialist, or equivalent qualifications are a plus
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, SolarWinds, Dynatrace, or other IT infrastructure management solutions
- Analytical skills and a structured approach to problem solving
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
- Fluent written and spoken German and English
