About the role

  • Collaborate with design and development teams to help design, prototype, and document user interfaces that improve overall user experience.
  • Assist in creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces using approved design and prototyping tools.
  • Help prepare reusable UI components and front-end design patterns for review and implementation.
  • Support the team in validating the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing under guidance from senior designers.
  • Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
  • Collaborate with the team to refine visuals and experience decisions for assigned work.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure seamless integration of design solutions.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Stay up to date with UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
  • Use approved AI tools for low-risk ideation support under mentor guidance and validate outputs before handoff.

Requirements

  • University degree already attained or students graduating within the next 12 months.
  • Basic understanding of web design principles and UI/UX best practices.
  • Coursework or exposure to modern design and prototyping tools.
  • Fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Some experience or coursework in UI/UX design or a related field.
  • Fundamentals of responsive and adaptive design.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills in English.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Portfolio showcasing previous UI/UX design projects, when available (public, authorized, or sanitized samples only).
  • Basic exposure to AI-assisted design tools and willingness to follow responsible AI usage practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies (desirable).
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices (desirable).
  • Understanding of front-end build tools and version control systems such as Git (desirable).
