About the role
- Provide daily design and implementation of programming for children and adolescents with ASD
- Develop treatment and support plans and oversee behavior programs
- Conduct functional behavioral assessments and analyses
- Train and monitor Behavioral Health Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians in treatment plan implementation
- Collaborate with families, care managers, physicians, specialists, and case managers
- Develop and maintain knowledge of core implementation systems and treatment principles, understanding state and federal regulations
- Stay abreast of the most recent research and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) practices
- Work collaboratively with staff, participate in team meetings, and maintain communication with parents as needed
- Create lessons and materials that match each client's needs
- Develop social skill lessons and ensure treatment environments align with client objectives
Requirements
- Master's degree in Psychology or similar Human Services field and Behavior Specialist Licensure
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Knowledge and application of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Previous experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience with Early Start Denver Model, Precision Teaching, and/or PEAK programming – preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
