About the role
- Lead cross-functional teams (setup crews, crane operators, truck drivers, shop crews, support teams) to ensure seamless project execution
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and ensuring satisfaction
- Create and manage production and delivery schedules; communicate and meet timelines
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to gather requirements and ensure alignment
- Oversee budgets: monitor project costs, review invoices, and control expenses
- Resolve project-related issues; identify and mitigate timeline, quality, and budget risks
- Ensure compliance with building codes and standards; perform site inspections for quality and safety
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, schedules, change orders, and reports
- Conduct crew quality training and ensure company standards adherence
- Travel as needed (10%); spend 90% of time in the office supporting ongoing projects
Requirements
- 5+ years of residential construction experience
- Previous project management experience preferred but not required
- Open to experienced Construction Foremen moving into Project Manager role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience with project management software such as Builder Trend is a plus
- Detail-oriented
- Tenacious and persistent
- Organized; ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Customer-focused with a hospitality mindset
- Physically capable: able to lift up to 70 lbs., bend, kneel, stoop, and walk on uneven terrain
- Willingness to travel as needed (10%)
