Ensure customer data quality control processes are scalable
Identify opportunities to improve aspects of data processing internally
Provide visibility into customer data processing pipeline including turnaround times, process effectiveness and potential improvements
Load and troubleshoot issues with data uploads
Use tools (e.g. Excel, Looker, Python) to review data accuracy and proper formatting
Chase down data quality issues to find root cause
Quickly diagnose answers to data related questions
Track data lineage and confirming audibility
Strengthen the data literacy and knowledge of our data product
Provide input to data dictionary and confirming governance is being followed
Research publicly available reputable sources for the identified top attributes
Inform and influence internal stakeholders around data governance processes and work with the Customer Success team to ensure customer data expectations are met as it relates to our data
Contribute to the definition of quality metrics for attributes
Find and evaluating new data sources for their potential use and benefit
Derive valuable insights from data sources
Research and verify company information via databases and Internet research
Keep strict confidentiality with customer account information.
Run and test new crowdsourcing projects on APPEN
Understand the basics of supplier diversity reporting and sustainability reporting
Understand diversity rules including self-certification criteria
Audit diversity data reports and consolidated data reports
Identify bad data and follow control processes to fix it based on audit results
Deliver internal and external presentations, working closely with product and technical teams to bring enhancements to life
Work closely with Customer Success Managers to ensure that customer data (vendor master and spend data) is quality checked before it is put back in front of the customer (across all the insights pages in the tool)
Leverage internal data (Salesforce, ChurnZero) in conjunction with TealBook data to derive trends and insights
Monitor adoption and usage trends, work closely with CSMs, Product and Designers to address adoption blockers and ensure customer success
Identify opportunities and work with CSMs to expand product adoption across their customers’ organizations, building champions every step of the way
Monitor engagement and trigger alerts when adoption is low or declining
Summarize data requirements, uses and issues clearly and concisely for internal and external communication
Perform data and platform testing against requirements defined
Improve data and reporting integrity, as well as identifying potential new insights
Requirements
Must have excellent knowledge of SQL + data analytics / visualization tools
Must have experience with analyzing/managing Enterprise Data
Experience with BigQuery and ETL concepts is an asset
Must be exceptionally organized with a research and audibility mindset
Track record as a proven Data Analyst and solid spreadsheet skills (including formula building)
Have a proficient understanding of best practices in data management
Ability to bridge understanding of customer goals and how data can be used to support tracking progress toward goals
Experience with requirements gathering, steward of data
Strong ability to collaborate within a remote working environment
Nice to haves:
Supply chain/procurement domain experience an asset
Experience with Design thinking is an asset
