About the role
- Manage several program measurement and insights activities for TaRL Africa
- Provide technical assistance to governments in the region
- Support systems for data collection and use
- Co-create and adapt foundational learning assessments
- Collaborate with governments and partners for assessment tools
- Analyze program data and share actionable insights
- Coordinate with partners for implementation, outcome, and cost data consolidation
- Conduct workshops on assessment and data use as needed
Requirements
- Minimum qualification: A Bachelor degree
- 5 years of relevant full-time work experience in measurement, learning and evaluation
- Experience working with software for data collection, warehousing, analysis & visualization platforms (Required: Excel, SurveyCTO/ ODK/ KoboCollect; Strongly preferred: Tableau/Power BI, Stata, Microsoft Azure)
- Demonstrated history of helping program stakeholders, both internal and external, make better decisions using data and storytelling
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience managing cross-cultural teams
- Ability to think analytically and critically, keeping the big picture in mind and remaining curious
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills in French and English, including writing, conversing, and presenting
- Willingness to travel frequently and flexibly within Africa.
