About the role
- Provides guidance and leadership on manufacturing processes to support organizational manufacturing goals;
- Performs research on products and manufacturing process and share with senior engineers.
- Work closely with local plant resources to execute deliverables for the NPD Phase Gate process.
- Provide DFM/DFA feedback during early product design stages.
- Conduct PFMEAs and implement high-risk mitigation strategies.
- Leverage various ME tools to support the development and qualification of manufacturing processes (e.g., capability studies, sample builds, FAIs).
- Collaborate on cost estimation for new product concepts.
- Design, develop, and deploy equipment, tooling, and fixtures.
- Use Lean Manufacturing tools to launch new product with world class cost.
- Support root cause analysis using DMAIC, 5 Whys, 8D, and other problem-solving tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline
- 3+ years in a manufacturing environment with increasing responsibility.
- Experience with machine/process design and deployment into production.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; hands-on and proactive approach.
- Familiarity with Bill of Materials (BOM), routings, MES, and change management systems.
- Proficient in 3D CAD and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
