About the role

  • Provides guidance and leadership on manufacturing processes to support organizational manufacturing goals;
  • Performs research on products and manufacturing process and share with senior engineers.
  • Work closely with local plant resources to execute deliverables for the NPD Phase Gate process.
  • Provide DFM/DFA feedback during early product design stages.
  • Conduct PFMEAs and implement high-risk mitigation strategies.
  • Leverage various ME tools to support the development and qualification of manufacturing processes (e.g., capability studies, sample builds, FAIs).
  • Collaborate on cost estimation for new product concepts.
  • Design, develop, and deploy equipment, tooling, and fixtures.
  • Use Lean Manufacturing tools to launch new product with world class cost.
  • Support root cause analysis using DMAIC, 5 Whys, 8D, and other problem-solving tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline
  • 3+ years in a manufacturing environment with increasing responsibility.
  • Experience with machine/process design and deployment into production.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; hands-on and proactive approach.
  • Familiarity with Bill of Materials (BOM), routings, MES, and change management systems.
  • Proficient in 3D CAD and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
