About the role
- Act as regional (Americas) Product Manager for TE Connectivity Medical Business Unit
- Gather regional VOC, analyze market trends, customer needs, demand drivers and competitive landscape
- Conduct market segmentation, competitive analysis, and define segment-specific value propositions and go-to-market strategies
- Work with R&D and operations to develop new products and manage the product lifecycle
- Define regional business plans aligned to global strategy, including sales, technology and operations goals
- Establish regional pricing policy and manage special price requests
- Champion PAC projects and support global marketing launches in region
- Provide regional demand forecast inputs to S&OP and attend customer meetings to win new business
- Enable sales via training and collateral development; track progress to business plan and resolve gaps
- Champion resolution of product issues (quality, delivery, etc.) and deliver sustained profitable growth
Requirements
- 10+ years of product management, strategy, business development (preferred)
- Relevant P&L management experience (preferred)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent; MBA preferred
- Knowledge and experience of cable assemblies and connectors, ideally for the medical industry and therapy solutions
- Technical and market understanding of industrial applications
- Ability to support frequent travel up to 30% (regional and global)
- Demonstrated project leadership and ability to organize and prioritize
- Strong interpersonal, business acumen & negotiating skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and form successful working relationships at all levels
- Outstanding networking, influencing, and listening skills
- Experience reading/interpreting production level drawings
- Demonstrated technical and commercial mindset
- Cultural sensitivity to work effectively on a global scale
