About the role
- Evaluates quality improvement opportunities, collaborates with key stakeholders to provide support, and oversee programs and projects to improve products and processes.
- Responsible for facilitating and deploying TE’s Continuous Improvement platform, TE Operating Advantage (TEOA), throughout the assigned Value Stream to drive flawless execution.
- Partners with the Value Stream Manager to oversee day-to-day activities to meet operational and financial expectations.
- Ensure consistent application of TEOA methodology and standard work in alignment with TEOA peers and TEOA site/process leader.
Requirements
- Must be US Citizen
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field required; Master’s degree preferred
- 5+ years’ professional experience with focus on production, logistics or engineering and financial knowledge in a manufacturing environment
- Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus; must be certified TEOA Practitioner or willing to acquire certification within the first year
- Fluency in both spoken and written English is essential
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, utilize process and value stream mapping, and draw valid conclusions.
- Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time effectively
- Can communicate with all levels to get everyone on board
- Strong planning/organization & time management skills
- Have the patience, perseverance and passion to drive the TEOA culture across the plant
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically (i.e. deliver results)
- Analytically minded and data-driven. Must also have a holistic overview of complex situations and deal effectively with difficult issues when they arise.
