About the role
- Develop and execute strategic plans to manage and grow Dell globally
- Serve as primary point of contact and build long-term senior-level customer relationships
- Identify new business opportunities and collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams
- Monitor industry trends and adjust strategies for AI and high-speed computing markets
- Maintain strong customer engagement to enhance satisfaction and convert pipeline into wins
- Achieve and exceed annual global sales targets; build pipeline and forecast sales
- Lead, mentor, recruit, and expand a team of technical sales professionals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive sales strategy
- Weekly in-person customer meetings and some evening communication with Asia required
Requirements
- 10+ years of successful selling in the data center/enterprise server market
- At least 5 years successfully leading sales teams
- Experience in the AI or high-speed computing industry
- Proven sales executive experience meeting or exceeding targets
- Prior experience with enterprise customers (Dell, HP, Cisco)
- Track record of building strategic opportunities and closing large technology contracts
- Skilled at communicating and leveraging value propositions
- Ability to understand the big picture and translate customer needs into opportunities
- Experience negotiating legal contracts
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
- Ability to build, develop, and lead a high-performance sales team
- Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce) desirable
- Technical aptitude/engineering undergraduate degree required
- Ability to travel up to 30-40% including international travel
- Strong leadership, coaching, mentoring, influencing, and communication skills
- Adaptable and results-oriented in a fast-paced global environment
