About the role
- Support US Navy data analytics and enterprise solutions program at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division
- Assist with program assessments ensuring programmatic goals/milestones are well documented and achieved
- Create measurements of success and effectiveness and communicate business metrics to stakeholders
- Support teams conducting Analysis of Alternatives and Design Studies and assess impacts to cost, schedule, and mission effectiveness
- Coordinate development efforts and interface between platform managers, SMEs, contractors, program managers, software engineers, and data scientists
- Facilitate, lead, and participate in meetings including peer, design, program, and testing reviews
- Identify, monitor, and help resolve risks and problems encountered by the team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2 or more years’ experience with US Navy programs
- Successful applicants must either have an active government security clearance or the ability to receive approval upon position acceptance
- U.S. citizenship is required; some positions may require renunciation of any non-U.S. citizenship to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- Must have a valid US passport or the ability to obtain one upon position acceptance
- Proficient in organizing within a team environment, tracking various efforts and elements of tasking
- Experience developing and gathering business metrics
- Results-oriented and motivated to provide solutions with measurable benefit to our customers
- Ability to communicate complex analysis with clarity and precision
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Travel: Up to 25%
- Preferred: Experience in business analytics and basic statistics
- Preferred: Experience with the US Navy as a servicemember or civilian in an engineering or technical capacity
- Preferred: Familiarity with US Navy shipboard and shoreside maintenance procedures
- Preferred: Experience with US Navy shipboard machinery systems
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Engineering or Math-related discipline
