About the role
- Be part of TDCX 24x7 SOC team to monitor and respond to incident and task related events utilizing individual judgment to determine the best course of action
- Actively utilizing discretion to remediate events
- Review cybersecurity incidents, threat analysis perform cyber incident triage during a cyber outbreak
- Responsible to ensure cybersecurity compliance are met
- Actively search for threats, indicators of compromise, and data exfiltration within the environment
- Triage and remediate security detections
- Assist Tier 2/3 teams in implementing changes and performing routine maintenance tasks for SIEM and XDR and other security tools
- Create and maintain documentation support the security environment
- Collaborate with various Information Security and Information Technology teams to ensure the overall security of the firm
- Plan, implement, manage, monitor and upgrade security measures for the protection of the organization's data, systems and networks
- Develop project timelines for system upgrades and implementation
- Troubleshoot security and network problems
- Establish disaster recovery procedures and conduct security breach drills
- Remain up to date with the latest security systems, standards, authentication protocols, and products
- Conduct daily administrative tasks, report and communicate with the relevant departments within the organization
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, Master's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering or a related qualification
- Preferably with 4 years of relevant working experience in the related field is ideal for this position
- Certification of Certified SOC Analyst is an added advantage
- Possesses a strong working knowledge of endpoint security, email security, threat intelligent and SIEM
- Demonstrated excellent teaching, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and the language of the supporting market
