About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Translate complex OT initiatives into clear, outcome-focused narratives that resonate with business leaders and executives
- Articulate how OT investments enable safety, reliability, risk reduction, and long-term enterprise value
- Elevate conversations from technology details to business outcomes
- Act as a trusted partner between business teams and OT domain experts (SCADA, Measurement, Real-Time Systems, Infrastructure)
- Facilitate productive conversations that align priorities, clarify trade-offs, and build shared understanding
- Ensure strong alignment across teams that operate and communicate very differently
- Champion the strategic value of OT data and how it supports better decision-making
- Help enable future AI-driven insights by translating the value of OT data and how it can be safely combined with corporate data
- Support alignment between OT teams, data and analytics teams, and business stakeholders—while respecting OT safety and governance boundaries
- Support OT strategy and portfolio planning by translating business priorities into actionable roadmaps
- Develop business cases, options analyses, and decision support materials
- Bring structure and clarity to complex, cross-domain problem spaces
- Provide analytical support during periods of growth and organizational change
- Work closely with senior leaders across business and IS to shape priorities and decisions impacting critical operational systems
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree or diploma in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline
- 7+ years of experience in business analysis, strategy, portfolio investment planning, or similar roles
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language
- Proven experience engaging senior leaders and producing executive-ready materials
- Understanding of OT data and how it is fundamentally different from structured data
- Experience working in or alongside OT or industrial environments (energy, utilities, pipelines, manufacturing, etc.)
- Experience working with OT platforms and ecosystems (e.g., AVEVA)
- Exposure to capital planning, large initiatives, or M&A activities
- Have current, valid authorization to travel internationally (including but not limited to Canada, US and Mexico)
