About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage overall physical and financial transport and storage positions and monitor the team's profit and loss on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
- Manage existing customer relationships and create new ones to enhance TC Energy’s asset portfolio opportunities
- Analyze data, markets, and risk to support real-time commercial decisions
- Articulate and clearly communicate commercial strategies and results to senior leadership
- Serve as a subject matter expert in gas market fundamentals
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics or other technical field from a distinguished university; graduate degree and/or professional certification preferred
- 8+ years of gas market experience, to include marketing, trading, nominations, scheduling and/or customer service
- Strong understanding in the physical and financial natural gas market dynamics
- Strong capability of understanding complex analysis of data models and successfully deriving clear conclusions and recommendations for action
- Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills
