About the role

  • Manage overall physical and financial transport and storage positions and monitor the team's profit and loss on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
  • Manage existing customer relationships and create new ones to enhance TC Energy’s asset portfolio opportunities
  • Analyze data, markets, and risk to support real-time commercial decisions
  • Articulate and clearly communicate commercial strategies and results to senior leadership
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in gas market fundamentals

Requirements

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics or other technical field from a distinguished university; graduate degree and/or professional certification preferred
  • 8+ years of gas market experience, to include marketing, trading, nominations, scheduling and/or customer service
  • Strong understanding in the physical and financial natural gas market dynamics
  • Strong capability of understanding complex analysis of data models and successfully deriving clear conclusions and recommendations for action
  • Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills
