About the role
- Support Upani in shaping and advancing new projects focusing on environmental conservation, climate resilience, and community engagement
- Conduct research on conservation strategies, climate action frameworks, and sustainability best practices
- Support the design of new environmental and community programs, including drafting proposals and concept notes
- Assist in creating presentations, reports, and awareness materials
- Collaborate with the Upani team through virtual meetings and digital tools
- Contribute ideas for community engagement campaigns around conservation and sustainability
- Minimum 3 months duration with possibility of extension based on performance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or current enrollment) in Environmental Studies, Climate Science, Sustainability, Development Studies, or related fields
- 0–2 years of relevant experience (students and early-career professionals are encouraged to apply)
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
- Plus: Experience with data visualization, GIS, or digital media tools is an advantage
- Passion for climate action, conservation, and sustainability
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working independently in a virtual setting
- Creative thinker with the ability to contribute new ideas
