About the role
- Conduct faunal surveys independently
- Prepare and participate in the execution of fieldwork (site organization, scheduling, recording observations, collecting samples)
- Write intervention reports and study reports in the fields of ecology and biodiversity
- Manage subcontracting of internal and/or external work required for field surveys
- Prepare and draft technical and financial proposals
Requirements
- Hold an engineering degree or a Master’s degree specialized in Environment (Nature management and protection, Ecology, or Biodiversity)
- Proven experience of more than 5 years in ecology within an environmental consulting firm
- Knowledge of fauna, ecological engineering, and wetlands
- Experience in ecological engineering/operational site management and differentiated management is a plus
- Able to work independently and with rigor
- Strong analytical, proposal-development and writing skills for diagnostics and the ERC (Avoid–Reduce–Compensate) approach
- Client-service orientation, curiosity, enthusiasm for fieldwork, and the ability to collaborate within a team
