About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain public and internal web and backend applications using JavaScript, Python, and SQL along with frameworks such as React, NextJS, TanStack, NodeJS, and Django
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
Complete medium to large features (each with many tasks) independently without guidance
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices
Proactively identify and drive changes as needed across all product areas
Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues
Participate in code and design reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and product quality
Provide strategic insight and technical guidance on how to architect our code base to support our user base as we scale product features

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
5+ years of experience in full-stack development
Proficiency in JavaScript, with relevant experience using React
Proficiency in Python
Experience with SQL
Strong understanding of web application architecture, design patterns, and best practices
Solid knowledge of version control systems (e.g. Git)
Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools and processes
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
Availability for meetings from Monday to Thursday between 8am and 12pm Eastern
