About the role
- Prepare and conduct thorough financial analysis to identify key insights impacting financial results
- Be the subject matter expert on new accounting standards and tax reporting matters
- Participate in financial projects to provide actionable insights for decision-making
- Support the annual budget and forecast process
- Assist with monthly and year-end financial reporting processes
Requirements
- CPA designation required
- 5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis and reporting
- Solid knowledge of financial accounting terms and concepts
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinker with good written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of IFRS 17 is an asset
- Experience with sophisticated ERP system with multiple integrations is an asset
- Previous experience in Financial Services or Insurance industry is an asset
