About the role
- You are responsible for purchasing live animals for our client's slaughterhouses
- You conduct price and quantity negotiations
- You ensure quality and build long-term relationships with suppliers
Requirements
- You have worked in agriculture and have an extensive network in the sector
- You have knowledge of the Swiss livestock trade and the meat/slaughter cattle market
- You have experience in trading/sales of animal products or animal feed
- You have worked in meat processing and have established contacts with suppliers
- You speak and write German fluently
- You have good interpersonal skills and negotiation abilities
- You are proficient with computers and common software applications
- You learn quickly and are interested in Swiss agriculture and the livestock trade
