About the role
- You are responsible for purchasing live cattle for the slaughterhouses of our client
- You conduct price and volume negotiations
- You ensure quality and develop long-term supplier relationships
Requirements
- You have worked in agriculture and have an extensive network
- You have knowledge of the Swiss livestock trade and the meat or slaughter cattle market
- You come from the trade/sales of animal products or animal feed
- You have worked in meat processing and have established contacts with suppliers
- You speak and write German fluently
- You have good manners and strong negotiation skills
- You are comfortable with computers and common software programs
- You learn quickly and are interested in Swiss agriculture/livestock trade
