About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work closely with the rest of the engineering team members to design and implement large-scale service-oriented applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements
Help drive future technology direction and framework selection across different products
Responsible for Designing and maintaining a secure AWS Enterprise DevOps and SecDevOps tools based on industry standards
Determine technical standards and specifications and lead the architecture, design, build and support of DevOps components
Build infrastructure to support CICD pipeline for micro-service environments across multiple environments
Conduct code reviews and enhance software development best practices within the team
Mentor junior members of the engineering team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or related field
5 years of experience with design and implementation of systems and applications at Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Proven track record of enterprise architecture experience with large volume, high availability enterprise applications
Strong understanding of modern front-end frameworks, specifically React
Strong core Java and knowledge of enterprise technologies
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming best practices and design principles
Five (5) years of broad knowledge of Java and/or PHP
Three (3) years’ experience with Spring Framework or Laravel
Three (3) years of experience with Relational DBs like Postgres and writing SQL queries
Four (4) years of experience with AWS (API Gateway, Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, Lambda, Code Pipeline)
