About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

support the delivery, administration, and operation of operational systems projects
provide ongoing end-user support, including level two troubleshooting
assist with ad-hoc reporting, data analysis, and end-user training
design, implement, and commission innovative solutions to improve data availability, analysis, and reporting
prepare clear and accurate project documentation to support successful delivery
provide ongoing support for operational and data systems at Greenbushes (site)
troubleshoot and resolve issues on-site when required
coach and train end-users in data applications, dashboards, and reporting tools
develop and implement user-friendly dashboards and reports that deliver actionable insights
collaborate with site teams on new projects requiring data systems integration
support commissioning, handover, and troubleshooting for IST projects and components within larger initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

Tertiary qualification in Engineering or Computer Science (highly desirable)
formal training in SQL, scripting, or software development (desirable)
strong analytical and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
conceptual understanding of mining-related systems, including: Historian, SCADA, Communications & Networks, Server Infrastructure (including Virtualisation), and Data Analysis and Interfacing
advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word
skilled in technical languages such as SQL, scripting, C#, and Visual Basic
experience with configuration and change management tools (GIT) and associated processes
ability to collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including vendors, consultants, and internal process owners
solid understanding of engineering principles.
