About the role
- Production controlling, including development and maintenance of modern controlling tools and reports to optimally manage a dynamic production environment
- Preparation of standard cost roll-ups, execution of precise variance analyses and ensuring correct cost allocation
- Identification and analysis of deviations between planned and actual values, clarification of discrepancies and differences, and proposal and coordination of necessary corrections
- Examination of production processes, identification of opportunities for cost reduction and optimization, development of concrete recommendations for action and monitoring their implementation
- Participation in the planning, execution and reconciliation of inventories
- Support for financial accounting, e.g. posting business transactions, payment runs and dunning processes, account reconciliations and master data maintenance
- Contribution to the preparation of various statistics, analyses and other financial accounting tasks as part of day-to-day operations
- Function as a business partner for cost center managers and department heads by providing support on financial matters
Requirements
- Relevant degree or commercial vocational training with corresponding experience
- Initial professional experience in finance and controlling (internship or working student experience also welcome)
- Strong numerical skills and interest in production processes
- Very good knowledge of Office tools and ERP systems, ideally SAP FI/CO (preferably with experience in PP/MM)
- Fluent German and good English skills
