About the role

  • Support BioLife Laboratory Operations by driving business process improvements, automation, and metric analysis in all areas of BioLife Testing Labs
  • Manage data gathering and communication between diverse data sources to construct reports and models to support key business strategies
  • Manage multiple projects with varying levels of engagement, scope, and specifications
  • Manage operational reporting and define business rules required for data accuracy and regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with users to define concepts and detailed report requirements
  • Develop reports, business tools and solutions (e.g., Power BI, Databricks) and create production dashboards
  • Support projects with measurement standards and supporting data analysis
  • Support review of key business metrics and system performance and provide end-user training
  • Develop, manage, and execute assigned projects including objectives, scheduling, communication, training, and quality standards
  • Provide subject matter expertise for user requirement specifications, process flow and solution mapping
  • Support validation of new computerized systems through creation of datasets
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional continuous improvement teams and represent operations through communication and committee participation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years of experience, preferably in a medical or other regulated field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Desired: minimum of 2 years of data analytics experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong knowledge of data analytics and business intelligence reporting tools
  • Advanced knowledge in: SQL, Power BI, DAX and M, Databricks, Python, Office 365, Visual Basic, Microsoft Power Platform
  • Strong written, verbal, and personal interaction and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal direction
  • Ability to collaborate with users to define report requirements and business rules
  • Domestic travel as needed - 10%
