About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform tax department activities, actively participating in monthly and annual closing routines and ancillary obligations.
- Handle tax bookkeeping, review invoices, and analyze direct and indirect taxes, including calculations for taxes such as ICMS, IPI, PIS, COFINS, ISS, IRPJ and CSLL, including IBS and CBS.
- Proficient in preparing and filing tax ancillary obligations, such as EFD-Contribuições (PIS/COFINS), REINF, MIT, GIAS, SPED Fiscal and other relevant state/municipal filings.
- Knowledge of tax regimes (Presumed Profit - Lucro Presumido, Actual Profit - Lucro Real, and Simples Nacional).
- Basic knowledge of federal, state (especially São Paulo) and municipal tax legislation.
- Ability to interpret and apply basic tax regulations.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience working in an accounting firm

- Ability and willingness to work in a team
- Adapted to hybrid work arrangements without compromising deliverables
- Education: Degree or coursework in Accounting / Tax and Fiscal Management (completed or in progress)
- Familiarity with systems: Domínio, Onvio-Processos and Unecont.
