About the role

  • Build out our test automation with a clear focus on scalability, stability, and AI-supported methods in a sustainable way.
  • Support our existing QA team operationally and raise the quality of our products to the next level.
  • Work primarily with automated tests (E2E, integration, regression); manual testing is used only as a complement.
  • Design, expand, and maintain our test automation frameworks.
  • Actively apply AI for test case generation, failure analysis, test data generation, and to improve test coverage.
  • Collaborate closely with development, product management, and DevOps.
  • Support and coach the existing QA team.

Requirements

  • Several years of professional experience as a Senior Software Tester / QA Engineer / Test Automation Engineer
  • Very strong hands-on experience in test automation (e.g. Ranorex, Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, API testing)
  • Experience building maintainable and scalable test architectures
  • Demonstrable practical experience using AI in software testing
  • Very good technical understanding of software architectures, APIs, databases, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience working in agile development teams (Scrum or Kanban)
  • High standards for quality as well as a structured and self-reliant way of working
  • Enjoys knowledge sharing within the team
  • Very good German skills (at least C1)
