About the role

  • Analyze automation, instrumentation, and control systems in industrial environments.
  • Structure technical diagnostics (AS IS / TO BE) and master plans.
  • Design automation architectures aligned with ISA-95 and the client’s maturity level.
  • Translate technical analyses into reports and executive presentations.
  • Specify instruments, PLCs, industrial networks, and supervisory/SCADA systems.
  • Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and supervisory/SCADA systems.
  • Support technical proposals, business cases, and feasibility studies.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and with project management.
  • Contribute to the NEXUM portfolio and innovation initiatives.
  • Share knowledge and support team development.

Requirements

  • Degree in Control and Automation Engineering or related fields.
  • Experience in automation, instrumentation, and industrial processes.
  • Strong knowledge of PLCs, supervisory systems, industrial networks, and protocols.
  • Good technical communication skills and a systems-thinking mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint.
  • Intermediate English.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies.
  • Programming (Python, C++, CODESYS, MATLAB).
  • Experience with Safety PLCs, AutoCAD, or virtualization.
