Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare and cook a variety of meat dishes to consistently high quality standards.
- Select and utilize the most suitable cuts of meat for different menu items and cooking methods.
- Cook steaks and other meats accurately according to the requested level of doneness.
- Ensure consistency in taste, texture, presentation, and portioning.
- Maintain food quality while following food safety, hygiene, and kitchen sanitation standards.
- Assist in maintaining efficient kitchen workflow and daily operations.
- Properly handle, store, and prepare meat products in accordance with food safety regulations.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience as a Chef specializing in meat preparation, grill, or steakhouse operations.
- Excellent knowledge of different meat cuts and their best culinary applications.
- Strong understanding of cooking temperatures and levels of doneness (rare, medium rare, medium, medium well, and well done).
- Ability to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Must currently reside in Saudi Arabia.
- Priority will be given to candidates currently located in Jeddah, Makkah, and Taif.
- Must be available for a mandatory 1-day practical skills test.
