About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in developing and tracking GDPR compliance programs for agencies
- Assist with review of contracts and GDPR governance documents
- Support the development of compliance tools (how-to sheets, training materials, compliance guides, etc.)
- Assist in creating communication materials (newsletters, brief alerts)
- Draft legal memoranda and conduct legal research on data protection law
- Monitor legal and case-law developments, in particular from supervisory authorities, the European Commission and the CJEU
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree (e.g., Master 2) in Data Protection Law or IT Law
- Ideally: significant internship experience in a legal department, in-house or at a law firm
- Knowledge of the GDPR is a prerequisite for the role
- Practical experience in implementing the GDPR
- Interest in new technologies
- Rigour and autonomy; respect for confidentiality; analytical and summarizing skills; responsiveness; strong communication and teamwork skills
- Fluent English is essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
