Commercial Accountant – 9-12 month FTC
TADERACommercial Accountant overseeing revenue recognition and supporting financial guidance for a creative agency. Collaborating to drive agency profitability and producing monthly reports.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee the production of the revenue figures for monthly reporting and quarterly forecasting.
- Ensure revenue recognition standards are applied correctly.
- Completion on month end revenue tasks.
- Review monthly recovery reports and organise monthly meetings with Business Directors.
- Review fee proposals.
- Be a real driver in raising commercial awareness across the business.
- Ongoing training of client teams on commercial matters.
- Oversee the management of all client WIP accounts, ensuring timely billing & reconciliation, minimising any WIP write off.
- Ensure rate cards, rates and roles are up to date in the system.
- Ensure the Kimble System is maintained and used appropriately.
- Assist with implementation of new financial system.
- Ad-hoc tasks.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in Commercial or Client Accountant
- Previous agency experience desirable
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivator
- Advanced Excel skills
