About the role
- Manage a geographic reading territory and participate in team reading and committee review of application files.
- Manage a geographic recruitment territory and build relationships with high school counselors and community-based organizations through in-person and virtual travel and ongoing communications.
- Independently manage projects as assigned and serve as a strong collaborative member of the admission team.
- Communicate the benefits of a Wellesley College education virtually and through on- and off-campus information sessions.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Dean of Admission and Financial Aid or Director of Admission.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 0-3 years of previous admission, higher education, secondary school, non-profit organization or related experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with and support of the mission of a selective, liberal arts college is essential.
- Candidates should demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills.
- Regular evening and weekend work will be required.
- Must be available to travel out of state several weeks.
- Knowledge of college admission and financial aid process or related expertise.
- Ability to articulate the benefits of a liberal arts education for women.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Strong computer skills and literacy; experience with Technolutions Slate preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required.
