About the role
- Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repair on all electronic systems related to the fracturing process
- Repair and maintain company equipment including: Electrical and electronic systems, Recording and control software, Field computers and network equipment
- Communicate progress of repairs and maintenance to colleagues, service writer and maintenance manager as needed
- Perform preventive maintenance on company equipment according to company and manufacturer guidelines
- Identify problem areas and assist in making remedial action plans
- Assist in scheduling and costing repairs
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical equipment problems
- Assist in maintaining electrical and electronic parts inventory levels, which includes ordering of new components and shipping and receiving of components for repair
- Train maintenance and operations personnel on electrical systems and control software and hardware
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical training diploma or certificate in electronics recommended
- Experience in service company or oilfield operating company preferred
- Knowledge of electronic control systems, QA-QC and troubleshooting
- Good verbal and written communications skills
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
