Product and Accessories Designer
Taco TacoDesigner developing products and accessories at TACO, focusing on fashion brand definitions and market trends. Collaborating with multiple departments to ensure project viability and quality standards.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop products and accessories according to the brand's guidelines and market trends.
- Conduct research on trends, materials, colors, trims, and national and international references.
- Prepare technical drawings and complete tech packs for production.
- Oversee the development of samples and prototypes, making adjustments when necessary.
- Participate in defining product mix and collections.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Styling, Production, and Commercial teams to ensure project feasibility.
- Develop raw materials, trims, and finishes.
- Monitor development schedules and collection launch timelines.
- Conduct supplier visits when necessary.
- Ensure products meet the company's established quality, cost, and deadline standards.
- Technical knowledge for equipment development.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in Fashion Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, or related fields.
- Previous experience in product and accessories development.
- Knowledge of production processes, materials, and finishes.
- Experience in the fashion retail segment.
- Knowledge of patternmaking and garment manufacturing processes.
- Experience developing bags, belts, caps, backpacks, and other accessories.
- Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
- Organized, creative, and detail-oriented.
