About the role
- Complete Functional Safety assessments of challenging projects
- Support clients in Functional Safety and Cyber-Security topics
- Ensure completion of independent project management responsibilities
- Set and track time & cost limits
- Investigate testing requirements to additional applicable international standards
- Supervise / witness laboratory tests
- Create test reports, drafts certificates and document test results for performed assessments
- Identify new approaches to new developments & technologies used in safety-related environments
- Keep strict client confidentiality
- Support sales and marketing activities
Requirements
- 5 years of experience required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required; Master’s Degree preferred
- Prior experience as a Hardware and/or Software Design Engineer preferred
- Superior analytical and project management skills
- Strong communications skill sets (written, verbal and active listening)
- Strong interpersonal skill sets supporting ability to work effectively with internal team members and clients/client teams
- Experience in certifying products to industrial safety standards (e.g. IEC61508) or Cyber-Security (e.g. IEC 62443-4-x) preferred
- Project Management Certification Preferred
- Good knowledge about the industry, latest developments and changing market conditions
