About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, implement, and test data governance and compliance policies, including data classification, labeling, and DLP policies.
  • Deploy and configure Microsoft Purview and integrated Microsoft 365 services.
  • Mitigate risks by protecting sensitive data from internal and external threats.
  • Manage and support eDiscovery workflows, including data collection, search, and export for legal and compliance teams.
  • Collaborate with data architects, analysts, IT, security teams, and business application owners to implement solutions and enforce governance best practices.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of progressive IT experience OR an Associate's Degree with 10+ years OR 12+ years of equivalent IT experience
  • US Citizenship and must be able to obtain a public trust clearance.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview administration.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data security, and compliance principles.
  • Experience with data loss prevention (DLP), data classification, and sensitivity labeling.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 environments and related services like Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages like PowerShell is a plus.
  • Experience with risk assessments and audits.
  • Ability to develop and implement security and compliance policies.
