About the role
- Advise our customers on all security-related topics — from design through development
- Analyze, design and continuously enhance our security services and contribute to defining new managed security offerings
- Work with modern security technologies such as EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS, PAM, vulnerability management and SIEM
- Independently support and coordinate internal and external security incidents (detection, containment, remediation, lessons learned)
- Monitor, analyze and defend against current and emerging threats (threat hunting, threat intelligence) by developing the latest countermeasures
- Collaborate on developing new security requirements, policies and controls to improve our customers’ security posture
- Work closely with our European and global security teams to continuously advance our solutions, methodologies and automation approaches
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of IT/cybersecurity, networks, operating systems and modern security architectures
- Experience with common security tools such as EDR/XDR, IPS/IDS, PAM, ideally complemented by knowledge of SIEM and vulnerability management
- Experience or interest in automation and scripting, e.g. Ansible, SALT, Python or PowerShell
- Understanding of indicators of compromise (IOCs), risk modeling, security frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST) and best practices
- Excellent analytical skills and strong presentation and communication abilities
- Very good German language skills and confident English skills
